Hey There
As a visual storyteller, I've worked in different aspects of the film industry which has given me a more complete understanding of what it means to "make a movie." As a SAG actor, director, acting coach, casting assistant, camera operator, editor, and screenwriter, I have always been passionate about the strength of a good tale. My stories focus on strong premises that challenge societal norms and hopefully leave their audiences with a desire to discuss. My protagonists are complex, often women, sometimes children, always vulnerable, sometimes loved, and sometimes not.
I divide my time between LA and Florida, writing and traveling. I am seeking representation and believe that one day my stories will be viewed on the big screen and enjoyed by millions! Think big!
All About Me
I am thrilled to share my diverse background with you. I was born in a small village in the mountains of Arcadia, Greece, and my family immigrated to the heartland of the mid-west when I was four. Despite the challenges we faced, the U.S provided ample opportunities, and my family forged a good life. As an only child, I spent a lot of time alone and found solace in watching movies and TV shows. One day, I saw a movie called "Airport." I was 10 and fell in love with it. I saw the movie 8 more times that week feeling a strong empathy for the antagonist, played by Peter Turgeon. He was complicated and not at all simple like the characters in the Gidget movies I adored. My love for storytelling and character development blossomed from there.
I strive to create unique characters that have compelling inner worlds. Of course, a compelling premise is the second half to a perfect story equation - A "what if" that throws a monkey wrench into the whole machine! And then, when the story is over, you don't want to let it go. Instead you're looking for a place to sit. You want to talk it over. You want to share what you think.
That's a good film. That's what I strive to do in EVERY story.
